The school is looking to appoint enthusiastic Cover Supervisors and Supply Teachers for flexible day-to-day, short-term and long-term opportunities, with both part-time and full-time availability considered. The successful applicants will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, managing classroom behaviour effectively, supporting students with their learning and ensuring a positive and productive classroom environment.
The successful Cover Supervisor / Supply Teacher will have:
- QTS / Qualified Teacher Status for Supply Teacher positions, or relevant classroom experience for Cover Supervisor roles
- Experience working with secondary-aged students within a school environment
- Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students
- A flexible, reliable and enthusiastic approach to working in different classroom environments
