TeacherActive are proud to be working with a large number of Secondary Schools across South Gloucestershire. We are actively recruiting for dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support our school network with quality and consistent staff.

As a cover supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting schools by ensuring continuity in students learning when teachers are absent. You’ll manage classrooms, maintain discipline, and ensure that students stay on task with pre-set work.

Our Cover Supervisors play a vital role in schools, whether on a day to day, long-term or permanent basis. The role of a Cover Supervisor doesn’t include planning and preparation, however strong communication and classroom management skills are a must.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• CACHE LEVEL 2/3 OR 6 months experience

• Be confident in their ability to manage a class of students within the age range 11 to 16

• Be able to manage behaviour in the classroom to ensure students remain engaged

• Be flexible to work throughout the school within different departments and with different age ranges daily

South West/ contract / £100 – 130 per day, In return for the above you can expect to receive:
