TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Further Education College based in Leamington Spa, which is looking to appoint a Criminology Lecturer. The college is committed to providing a supportive learning environment where students can develop their knowledge, confidence and skills in preparation for further education or employment.
The college is looking to take on a dedicated Criminology Lecturer on a part-time, temporary ongoing basis, with an ASAP start and no confirmed end date.
The successful Criminology Lecturer will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Supporting students studying Criminology, potentially at Level 3
- Assessing progress and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment
The successful Criminology Lecturer will have:
- A relevant degree in Criminology or a closely related subject
- A recognised teaching qualification or relevant teaching experience within Further Education
- Experience teaching Criminology or a related subject, ideally at Level 3
- Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning
