TeacherActive is proudly recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in South East London, looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join their Early Years team!
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working with young children, understands the importance of early childhood development and is passionate about creating a fun, safe and engaging learning environment.
The Role
- Support children's learning and development within an Early Years setting.
- Plan and deliver fun, creative and engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Encourage children's independence, confidence and social skills.
- Support pupils with a range of learning abilities and additional needs.
- Work closely with class teachers and other practitioners to provide high-quality care and education.
- Help create a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.
- Observe and monitor children's progress and development.
What We're Looking For
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (desirable).
- Previous experience working within an EYFS, nursery or primary school setting.
- A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for helping young children learn, grow and thrive!
