TeacherActive are currently recruiting for a motivated and energetic PE Teaching Assistant to support schools in the Colchester area with an immediate start available. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about sport, physical education, and supporting young people in an educational setting. The successful candidate will work closely with PE teachers to deliver engaging lessons, encourage participation, and support students both in and out of the classroom.
Role
- Supporting PE lessons across a range of age groups
- Assisting with sports activities, games, and extracurricular clubs
- Encouraging student participation and confidence
- Supporting students with additional needs where required
- Helping to maintain a safe and positive learning environment
Ideal Candidate
- A passion for sports and physical education
- Previous experience working with children or young people
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Relevant coaching qualifications or school experience (desirable but not essential)
