Role Overview

We are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join on a cover basis. The successful candidate will deliver support across all classes, from Early Years Foundation Phase (EYFP) through to Key Stage 2, including the school’s Special Resource Base (SRB). A strong understanding of key aspects of the Welsh curriculum is essential, along with the confidence to support pupils effectively when required.

Key Requirements

  • HLTA qualification, Level 4 childcare qualification, or higher
  • Alternatively, PGCE or PCET qualifications are acceptable
  • Minimum of six months’ experience within a classroom setting
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • A reflective, creative, and proactive approach to supporting learning
