TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of mainstream secondary schools based in Bradford, who are looking to appoint a Religious Education Teacher. The schools provide a mainstream learning environment for secondary-aged students, with a focus on delivering the curriculum and supporting learners with a range of educational needs.
The schools are looking to take on an enthusiastic Religious Education Teacher for day-to-day or long-term opportunities, with an immediate start available. The successful Religious Education Teacher will be delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, developing students' understanding of different religions and beliefs while adapting teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs, including those with SEND.
The successful Religious Education Teacher will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
- Experience teaching Religious Education across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the Religious Education curriculum
- Experience adapting lessons to support students with SEND
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach to teaching
