TeacherActive is proud to be working with a private day nursery based in Keighley, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Nursery Assistant. The nursery offers a supportive team environment where staff can develop their skills, build confidence and work together to provide a positive learning experience for young children.
The nursery is looking to appoint a Nursery Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children's learning and development through engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS, while helping to maintain a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.
The successful Nursery Assistant will have:
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years is desirable
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or Early Years setting is desirable
- A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS framework
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a supportive team
- A positive, hardworking attitude with a willingness to learn, develop new skills and progress within Early Years
