EYFS Teaching Assistant in Bradford

TeacherActive is working closely with a number of primary schools across Bradford and the surrounding areas. We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to provide classroom support across a range of different settings.

Opportunities can range from individual day-to-day bookings through to full-time, long-term placements, with potential permanent opportunities depending on the needs of individual schools.

If you are a Teaching Assistant looking for flexible or long-term primary school work across Bradford.

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you may be responsible for:

• Supporting teachers with the delivery of classroom activities
• Working with pupils individually and in small groups
• Supporting phonics, reading, literacy and numeracy interventions
• Helping pupils remain engaged with their learning
• Providing 1:1 support where required
• Supporting pupils with additional needs
• Promoting positive behaviour within the classroom
• Adapting to different year groups and school environments

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Previous experience working with primary-aged children
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
• Experience across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
• A positive and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• SEND experience is desirable but not essential
