I am delighted to be working with a lovely 2-form-entry primary school in Rubery, Birmingham, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their team from January 2027.
This is a full-time maternity cover position, running through to the end of the academic year, and would be a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Primary Teacher with experience in KS1.

About the Role
You will be taking responsibility for a delightful Year 1 class, supporting pupils through an important stage of their education.
This is an ideal opportunity for a Primary Teacher who:
Has previous experience working within KS1
Has a strong understanding of the Year 1 National Curriculum
Is committed to achieving high standards for every pupil
Can create an engaging and stimulating learning environment
Is adaptable, reflective and willing to respond to the individual needs of pupils
Is committed, reliable and a fantastic team player
Most importantly, the school is looking for someone who has a genuine passion for making a positive difference to children's lives.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are encouraged to apply
