The school are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Class Teacher to cover a maternity leave. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher who enjoys delivering high-quality teaching and making a real impact across the primary age range.
The Role
- Take full responsibility for a class, including planning, preparation, and assessment
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Demonstrate flexibility and confidence in teaching across different year groups
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and senior leadership
- Uphold and support the Catholic ethos and values of the school
Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Primary Teacher (QTS)
- Confident planning and delivering lessons independently
- Can commit to full-time work, 5 days per week
- Has experience (or confidence) teaching across multiple year groups
- Is organised, reflective, and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
- Has strong classroom management skills and builds positive relationships with pupils
- Is happy to work within a Catholic school environment (you do not need to be Catholic)
