Are you a qualified Primary Teacher looking for a Year 1 teaching role in a supportive and well-rated primary school? Do you enjoy creating engaging lessons that support pupils in their early stages of learning and development?
The Year 1 Teacher role involves delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum, managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies, and ensuring pupils remain engaged and on track with their learning. You’ll be expected to build positive relationships with pupils and staff, and contribute to a nurturing classroom environment. Working hours are typically 8:30am to 3:30pm.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent experience teaching in UK primary schools, ideally within Key Stage 1
- Strong classroom management skills
- The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to Year 1 pupils
- A positive, professional, and reliable approach
- An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
