Salary: £170 - £241 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a highly successful and heavily oversubscribed 11-19 Catholic school in Birmingham. The school promotes a strong Catholic ethos and provides a supportive environment focused on achievement, professional growth and developing both students and staff.
The school is looking to appoint a Teacher of Art on a full-time, one-year fixed-term maternity cover contract from January 2027. The successful Teacher of Art will teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, planning engaging lessons, assessing student progress and preparing students for external examinations while contributing to the continued success of the Art & Design department.
The successful Teacher of Art will have:
- QTS with an Art or Art & Design specialism
- Experience teaching Art across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Strong curriculum knowledge and the ability to plan engaging and challenging lessons
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management
- High expectations for student achievement and progress
- A commitment to supporting the school's Catholic values and ethos
