The Primary School in Llanelli seeks a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support classroom activities. The role is available on a part-time or full-time basis, with flexible hours between 08:30am and 15:30pm.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all children are engaged in classroom activities.
  • Provide individual support to pupils who require extra help.
  • Maintain a positive and calm approach during challenging situations.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and other support staff.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • TA qualification or at least 6 months experience in a classroom setting.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Capability to build valued relationships with pupils.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Welsh speaking preferred but not essential.
