TeacherActive is proud to partner with a fantastic ALN provision based in Caerphilly. The school follows a varied curriculum to suit the needs of the young people. Underpinning this is the consistent teaching of people skills and guidance to assist children in developing their social, emotional, and personal abilities. Their culture is one of patience, inclusivity, and helping children and young people with disabilities to achieve their full potential while promoting independence.

The school is looking to take on a permanent ALN Teacher from immediately on a full-time basis. The successful ALN teacher will be working directly with students across all Key Stages, whose ages range from 5 to 19 years. Most of the young people are diagnosed with either Autism/ASD, Learning Difficulties/LD, or Attention Deficit Disorder/ADD.

The successful ALN Teacher will have:

  • QTS
  • Experience working with children and young people with additional needs, specifically ASD, SLD, PMLD, ADD, ADHD
  • Experience supporting children through therapeutic practices
  • Have a nurturing and resilient attitude
