Job Title: Welsh Speaking 1-1 Teaching Assistant

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a couple of Welsh-speaking Primary School based in Llanymynech & surrounding areas, who are looking to appoint a Welsh Speaking 1-1 Assistant. These schools provides a Welsh-medium learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and academic abilities. TeacherActive is looking to take on a dedicated Welsh Speaking 1-1 Assistant on a part-time basis, with an immediate start available. The successful Welsh Speaking 1-1 Assistant will support pupils across Foundation Phase to Key Stage 2 / KS2, providing individual learning support, assisting with classroom activities and helping pupils engage with the Welsh-medium curriculum. The successful Welsh Speaking 1-1 Assistant will have:
- The ability to communicate confidently and fluently in Welsh
- Experience supporting children within a primary school setting
- Experience providing 1-1 support to pupils with varying learning abilities
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- A patient, caring and adaptable approach to supporting children's development
