We are looking to recruit a Supply Teacher to work across secondary schools in Chesterfield from September. The successful Supply Teacher will deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subject areas, maintain excellent classroom management, and ensure students remain engaged in their learning. This Supply Teacher role offers flexible day-to-day work with the opportunity to move into long-term placements for the right Supply Teacher. Whether you are looking to gain experience in different schools or secure a more permanent opportunity, this Supply Teacher position provides excellent flexibility and career development.
Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subject areas in secondary schools.
- Maintain excellent classroom management and ensure students remain engaged in learning.
- Adapt teaching approaches to different school environments as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative classroom culture supporting student progress.
Qualifications
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Experience teaching within UK secondary schools
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to different school environments
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A flexible and professional approach to teaching
