KS5 Psychology Teacher – Full-Time Supply (Maternity Cover)
Start Date: February
Duration: Maternity cover with the potential to extend to a 12-month full-time supply role.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychology Teacher to join a large, well-respected mainstream secondary school on a full-time supply basis from February, covering maternity leave. There is potential for this role to continue for up to 12 months. The school is Ofsted rated ‘Good’ in all categories and benefits from state-of-the-art facilities, a supportive leadership team and a positive learning environment.
The Role
- This is a full-time supply position with full teaching responsibilities.
- The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Teach Psychology at Key Stage 5
- Carry out the full role of a classroom teacher, including planning, marking, assessment and reporting
- Attend meetings and fulfil all directed time expectations
- Demonstrate strong behaviour management and high professional standards
- Work collaboratively within the department and wider school team
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have QTS or significant experience teaching KS5 Psychology
- Be confident delivering A Level Psychology
- Have proven strong behaviour management skills
- Be reliable, adaptable and committed to continuity of learning
- Be able to integrate quickly into an established school environment
