The school is looking to take on a Secondary Learning Support Assistant on a long‑term basis from September. The successful Secondary Learning Support Assistant will work across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, supporting students on a one‑to‑one basis and in small groups, assisting teachers during lessons and helping to promote positive behaviour and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support students on a one‑to‑one basis and in small groups across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Assist teachers during lessons.
- Promote positive behaviour and student engagement.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Experience supporting students within a UK secondary school.
- Experience working across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- A patient, caring and adaptable approach.
- A passion for supporting young people to achieve their full potential.
