The Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you'll play a key role in supporting children's learning, development, and well-being. You'll help create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can learn through play and develop essential early years skills.
Responsibilities
- Support children's learning in line with the EYFS Framework
- Plan and deliver engaging play-based activities
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Observe and record children's progress and development
- Promote children's social, emotional, and physical development
- Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and welcoming
- Follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures at all times

- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- A good understanding of the EYFS Framework
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
