We are looking to recruit a Welsh Medium Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a full‑time, long‑term role starting in September. The successful candidate will support teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, deliver interventions, cover classes when required and work closely with teachers to ensure pupils receive the highest standard of education.
Responsibilities
- Support teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
- Deliver targeted interventions to aid pupil progress.
- Cover classes as needed, ensuring continuity of learning.
- Collaborate closely with teachers to implement effective teaching strategies.
- Apply Welsh‑medium teaching practices and promote the Welsh language and culture.
Qualifications
- HLTA Status or a relevant Level 5 qualification.
- Fluent Welsh language skills, both spoken and written.
- Experience supporting teaching and learning within a UK primary school.
- A strong understanding of the Primary Curriculum across KS1 and KS2.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A positive, flexible and proactive approach.
