Nursery Deputy Manager in Birmingham

Overview

• Location: Northfield
• Salary: £15.90 per hour (£33,072 per annum)
• Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week
• Contract: Permanent
• Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Nursery Manager to support the day-to-day running of the setting, maintain outstanding standards of care and education, and create a positive environment where every child can flourish.
• Support the Nursery Manager with the daily operation of the nursery.
• Lead and motivate the nursery team to deliver outstanding childcare.
• Ensure the nursery meets all safeguarding and EYFS requirements.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Support staff development through coaching and mentoring.
• Maintain a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• A relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years or above.
• Previous experience in a senior role within an early years setting.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• A genuine passion for providing high-quality early years education and care.
