Are you a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant with a strong background in KS2? TeacherActive is working in partnership with a welcoming 2‑form primary school in South Birmingham to recruit for a Level 3 TA to support in their Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) department on a maternity cover basis.
About the Role- Working full‑time Monday to Friday (8:30am – 3:30pm)
- Supporting pupils within KS2, delivering small group interventions and 1:1 where needed
- Implementing and supporting Read Write Inc. phonics delivery – RWI training is essential
- Working alongside class teachers to deliver engaging, inclusive learning
- Supporting children with additional needs – experience with SEND is desirable but not essential
- Proven experience in a Primary setting, ideally in a primary school
- Read Write Inc. training and the ability to deliver phonics sessions effectively
- A nurturing, flexible and proactive approach to learning support
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to the school's ethos and values
