Position Summary
Youth Worker (Behaviour Mentor) – Secondary School – Newham – ASAP Start – £115–120 per day (depending on experience)
Responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one, in‑class and outside‑class behavioural and pastoral support to students.
- Work closely with students exhibiting challenging behaviour, creating tailored support plans.
- Build rapport and maintain positive relationships with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Collaborate with the Behaviour Support Team to share best practice and resources.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of experience working with young people, ideally in a school setting.
- Strong behaviour management skills and a clear understanding of effective intervention techniques.
- Team Teach or physical intervention training is desirable.
