Overview

Youth Worker (Behaviour Mentor) – Secondary School – Lambeth — ASAP start — £110-£115 per day (depending on experience).

Youth Worker required for a mainstream secondary school in the borough of Lambeth. The role focuses on providing behavioural and pastoral support for students, including 1:1, in-class and out-of-class support, with students who display challenging behaviour.

Responsibilities

  • Provide behavioural and pastoral support to students.
  • Deliver 1:1 support, in-class support and out-of-class support as required.
  • Build good rapport with students and manage behaviour effectively.
  • Work with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Collaborate with the Behaviour Support Team to support students and contribute to a positive school environment.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience working with young people, ideally in a school setting.
  • Strong behaviour management skills.
  • Team Teach/ Physical Intervention training is desirable.
