Base Pay Range
Youth Worker (Behaviour Mentor) – Secondary School – Wandsworth – ASAP Start- £115 – £117 per day (depending on experience)
Role Summary
Join our mainstream secondary school as a Youth Worker (Behaviour Mentor) to provide behavioural and pastoral support to students from diverse backgrounds. You will deliver 1:1, in‑class and outside‑class support, working closely with challenging students to build rapport and help them succeed.
Responsibilities
- Provide behavioural and pastoral support to students.
- Deliver 1:1 support, in‑class and outside‑class interventions.
- Work closely with students with challenging behaviour.
- Collaborate with the Behaviour Support Team.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience working with young people, ideally in a school setting.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- Preferably trained in Team Teach or physical intervention.
- Empathetic approach and ability to build excellent rapport with students.
