Overview

Youth Worker (Behaviour Mentor) – Secondary School – Wandsworth – ASAP Start – £110 – £115 per day (depending on experience)

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1, in-class and outside-class support to students.
  • Work with students who have challenging behaviour and provide behavioural and pastoral support.
  • Build a good rapport with students and understand diverse backgrounds from which they come.
  • Maintain strong behaviour management skills to support a positive learning environment.
  • Be part of the School\\\’s Behavioural Support Team and collaborate with colleagues to support students.
  • Team Teach/ Physical Intervention training is desirable.

Qualifications / Experience

  • At least 1 year\\\’s experience with young people, ideally in a school setting.
  • Strong behaviour management skills.
  • Team Teach/ Physical Intervention Training desirable.
