The predicted salary is between 24 - 36 Β£ per hour.

We are recruiting experienced outreach tutors for our young people in the community who are unable to access education in mainstream school settings. You will be teaching the learners.

Responsibilities

  • Work 1:1 with young people with varying needs/backgrounds such as Autism, learning difficulties, trauma, etc.
  • Provide a positive learning environment while keeping learners engaged and supporting their educational achievements.
  • Adapt teaching to meet individual learner needs and track progress toward educational goals.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Teaching qualifications such as PGCE, QTS, QTLS, PGDE, Degree (mandatory).
  • Previous 1 year of experience (ideally in a similar or SEN/SEMH background).
  • Willing to work flexible hours to accommodate learners' needs.
  • Strong knowledge of English, Maths and Science and ability to tutor these subjects.
  • Have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one (assistance available).
