Learning Mentor – Newham – Secondary school – Immediately -£80 – £100 a day Teach 360 are currently seeking a Learning Mentor to join their support staffing team. The ideal learning mentor will need to be someone who has experience working with young people who either have challenging behaviour or SEN needs. Are you an experienced professional who has extensive knowledge and experience of working with students who exhibit challenging behaviour, have SEMH or SEN needs? In my opinion, if you answered yes to the above question, then you will be a successful Learning Mentor. The role – learning Mentor -Newham Identifying and supporting students with EHCP plans and providing them with support and mentoring Identifying and working with identified students in small groups or on a one-to-one basis Run interventions based on the needs of the students Working closely with teachers and other members of the behavioural team in order to achieve the best results The ability to deescalate challenging behaviour needs in a calm and proactive manner Build a good repour with students Plan and create resources Liaise with the SenCoThe school – Learning Mentor Newham Located in Hillingdon, this fantastic school has onsite parking for its students as well as a convenient location. Upon becoming a Learning Mentor, the successful candidate will be joining the support team which provides support to students who have challenging behaviours or special educational needs.
