ASD Teaching Assistant required for a SEN School in Tower Hamlets to support students on a 1:1 basis with ASD.

The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year's experience working with students on the Autistic Spectrum and may be required to help with personal care.

We are looking for an experienced ASD Teaching Assistant to join an academically progressive Special Needs School ASAP until the end of the academic year with a possible permanent placement.

For this role, you will also need previous experience using PECs and Makaton, which is desirable but not essential. Physical Restraint Training/Team-teach is also desirable.

This Special Needs School is located in the Inner London borough of Tower Hamlets, catering to 90 students aged between 11 - 19 with ASD and Complex Needs. The school is based very close to a train station, making it easily accessible via public transport links.
