We are recruiting experienced outreach tutors for our young people in the community who are unable to access education in mainstream school settings. You will be teaching the learners and working 1:1 with young people with various needs/backgrounds such as Autism, learning difficulties, trauma, etc. They are very keen learners who do not want to quit on education; hence, we are looking for passionate teachers who are willing to give these learners a positive learning environment while keeping them engaged and supporting their educational achievements. The student age group can vary from EFYS to GCSE/Functional Skills Level.

Mandatory for the role:

  • Teaching qualifications such as PGCE, QTS, QTLS, PGDE, Degree
  • Previous 1 year experience (ideally in similar or SEN/SEMH background)
  • Willing to work flexible hours to accommodate learners' needs
  • Have strong knowledge of English, Maths and Science and to be able to tutor learners in these subjects
  • Have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one (we can assist you with this)
