About the job
Hospitality2day are looking for Chef de Parties to join our team and work alongside our client on a long-term contract that may lead to permanent positions. Chef roles can have duties from assisting the head chef to helping and managing stocktake. All shifts are Monday to Friday working between 7:00 and 4pm and overtime is also available.
Duties as a Chef de Partie:
- Assisting in the food preparation process
- Cooking and preparing elements of high-quality dishes
- Preparing vegetables, meats and fish
- Assisting the Head Chef and team on site
- Cleaning stations
- Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards
Work Experience:
- Previous Catering experience as a Chef preferably within high volume restaurants or contract catering environment (min 3 years working experience)
- Confident working in a busy kitchen
- Experience in producing food of a high quality
- A current level 2 Food Hygiene and Allergen certificate
