SEN Teaching Assistant – September Start Location: Telford Salary: £12.16 – £16.82 per hour (dependent upon experience, qualifications, and responsibilities of the role) Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:15am – 3:30pm Are you a caring, patient and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next role? We are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Telford from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children and young people overcome barriers to learning and develop their confidence, independence and academic skills. You will play an important role in supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, working closely with teaching staff to create a positive, safe and engaging learning environment. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: * Previous experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs. * Experience supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small-group basis. * A calm, patient and nurturing approach. * The ability to adapt your support to meet individual needs and learning styles. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * The confidence to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff and families. * A positive and encouraging approach to behaviour and learning. * A genuine passion for helping children reach their potential. * A strong understanding of safeguarding and the importance of promoting pupil welfare.
