Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am - 3:30pm (varies depending on placement)

The Role Depending on the assignment, you may be:

  • Delivering pre‑planned lessons across your subject area

  • Taking on full teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation and marking
  • Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Supporting student progress and engagement
  • Following school policies and safeguarding procedures
  • Working collaboratively with departmental and pastoral teams

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching in secondary schools (subject specialist or general cover)
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different school environments
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
