Teach Ltd is seeking a creative, enthusiastic and dedicated Drama Teacher to work within a welcoming and supportive secondary school in South Norfolk. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Drama Teacher or Early Career Teacher (ECT) who is passionate about inspiring young people through performance, creativity and the performing arts.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. The role may also involve supporting school productions, performances and extra-curricular activities.

The Role

  • Planning and delivering engaging and inclusive Drama lessons
  • Encouraging creativity, confidence and self-expression
  • Supporting pupils in developing performance and presentation skills
  • Preparing students for examinations and assessed performances
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress
  • Maintaining positive classroom behaviour and high expectations
  • Contributing to school productions, performances and enrichment activities
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development

The Ideal Candidate

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Have experience teaching Drama within UK secondary schools
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Possess strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding
  • Be passionate about performing arts education
  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Be committed to supporting positive outcomes for all learners
