Cover Supervisor – Luton Location: Luton Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing Salary: £90–£120 per day (depending on experience) Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Temporary to Permanent Keep Education are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisor to work in a variety of Secondary Schools across Luton. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in education, or for experienced classroom supervisors looking for flexible, rewarding work. Responsibilities * Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task with the work set. * Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies. * Support students in understanding lesson materials and encourage participation. * Report any issues or concerns to senior staff. * Follow school safeguarding and health & safety procedures. Education & Experience * A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths. * A-Level qualification or degree preferred. * Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is desirable (e.g., as a Teaching Assistant, Youth Worker, or Sports Coach). * Training or experience in classroom management would be an advantage. Skills & Qualities * Confident, adaptable, and able to build rapport quickly. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong organisational skills and the ability to think on your feet. * A genuine interest in supporting students’ learning and wellbeing. * Reliable, punctual, and professional.
