Keep Education are recruiting for a confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to support Secondary Schools in Harpenden and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring teachers, recent graduates, or experienced classroom supervisors to gain valuable experience and make a real difference in students\β learning.
Main Responsibilities
- Supervise classes in the absence of the classroom teacher, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and support students in completing assigned work.
- Maintain good classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student engagement and progress.
- Follow all safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
Education & Experience
- Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- A-Levels or a Degree preferred.
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable (e.g. as a Teaching Assistant, Youth Worker, Sports Coach, or Mentor).
- Classroom management experience would be beneficial.
