Teach Ltd is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher to join schools in Bury St Edmunds. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students in computing, programming, and digital technologies, while contributing to a forward-thinking curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3-5 (or as specified).
- Develop students' understanding of programming, algorithms, computational thinking, and ICT concepts.
- Support extra-curricular activities such as coding clubs, competitions, and technology projects.
- Monitor and report on student progress, behaviour, and attainment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Computer Science in Secondary or Sixth Form settings.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or C++) and computing curriculum.
- Experience supporting extra-curricular computing activities is desirable.
