Secondary Design & Technology Teacher
Salary: Salary will be dependent upon proven experience, qualifications, and the expectations and requirements of the role.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am β 3:30pm. Full-time position, 5 days per week.

The Role
- Full-time position, 5 days per week.
- Full teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation and marking.
- Deliver high-quality Design & Technology lessons that inspire creativity, innovation and problem-solving skills.
- Assess, monitor and support student progress.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that enables all students to succeed.
- Encourage practical learning and the development of technical skills.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Design & Technology within a secondary school setting.
- Knowledge of the secondary DT curriculum.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to raising standards and supporting student achievement.
- Safeguarding & Compliance
