DT Technician

Teachwise is currently looking for an experienced DT Technician to work at a local secondary school in the Salford area.

The role is due to begin on 1st June will continue on a full-time, long-term basis.

The school is looking for an experienced DT Technician who can hit the ground running and provide ongoing support to the DT department.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a DT Technician
• Previous school based experience
• Excellent communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Preparing, setting up and checking equipment
• Supporting teaching staff and students during lessons
• Putting away equipment after lessons
• Ensuring a safe environment
• Organising and storing equipment and checking stock
• Repairing, maintaining and modifying equipment
• Administrative tasks
• Available from after May half-term
• Hold right to work in the UK
• Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
