Teachways are seeking a Year 5 teacher for our client based in Hackney. This excellent school prides itself on the positive and upbeat learning environment that they have created for their pupils. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and lead a lesson, following the national curriculum
- Prepare, set and mark work and homework
- Adapt tasks and activities to meet students' abilities
- Provide guidance to students that may need more support, including SEN children
- Provide ongoing support for behaviour management as well as promoting positive learning
- Observe and record pupil development and behaviour
- Attend staff meetings, parents evening, assemblies and school events when required
