Year 5 Teacher Job Description:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and creativity
- Conduct assessments, provide timely feedback, and track student progress
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies
- Establishing strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to facilitate effective communication and collaboration
The Ideal Year 5 Teacher will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Hold a recent and clear Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
- Experience teaching in KS2, ideally with Year 5
- A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum
- The ability to inspire and motivate young learners
- Excellent classroom management skills
- A commitment to inclusive education and supporting children of all abilities
