Teachways are seeking a Year 5 teacher for our client based in Wandsworth. This excellent school prides itself on the positive and upbeat learning environment that they have created for their pupils. Salary: £31,000 – £48,000 (depending on experience)

Requirements:

  • Clear Enhanced DBS
  • QTS
  • Experience teaching Primary
  • Excellent parent liaison, interpersonal and communication skills

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead lessons following the national curriculum
  • Prepare, set and mark work and homework
  • Adapt tasks and activities to meet students’ abilities
  • Provide guidance to students who need more support, including SEN children
  • Provide ongoing support for behaviour management and promote positive learning
  • Observe and record pupil development and behaviour
  • Attend staff meetings, parents’ evenings, assemblies and school events when required
