We are recruiting for our 2026 intake, with entry level teaching positions available for open-minded, enthusiastic individuals who are interested in living and working in China. This is an opportunity to teach English, experience life in a different culture, gain international work experience, and develop personally and professionally while receiving training and support. Prior teaching experience is not required. We provide a fully funded TEFL course before you begin teaching, and ongoing support throughout your placement.
As an English teacher, your week will usually include around 22 teaching hours, along with some basic office hours for lesson planning, school activities, and student support. Your main responsibilities may include:
- Planning and delivering English lessons
- Supporting students with spoken and written English
- Creating a positive and engaging classroom environment
- Preparing basic teaching materials
- Helping students build confidence in using English
- Monitoring student progress and participation
