A friendly and inclusive primary school in Worthing, easily accessible by public transport, is seeking an experienced Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. The successful candidate will work alongside a Year 1 Teacher and another TA, supporting a large cohort of pupils both within the classroom and through targeted 1:1 support.
This role would suit a TA with a strong background in Early Years/Key Stage 1 and ideally experience supporting children with SEND.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within EYFS or Key Stage 1.
- Experience supporting children with SEND, including those requiring additional communication, learning, or behavioural support.
- The ability to support learning through class-based activities and individual interventions.
- A nurturing, patient, and adaptable approach.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively alongside teaching staff.

- Hours: Full-Time 8.30-3.30pm
