Are you a PE Teacher, Sports Coach or experienced sports professional looking for flexible work in schools across Eastbourne? We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to support schools on a supply basis from September. This is a flexible opportunity where you can choose to work full-time or part-time, making it ideal for those looking to fit school work around other commitments. QTS is not essential for this role.
The role:
- Deliver PE lessons and sports activities
- Follow lesson plans and activities provided by the school
- Support students in developing their sporting skills and confidence
- Maintain a positive and safe learning environment
- Manage groups of students effectively
- Encourage participation and positive attitudes towards sport
- Adapt activities to suit different abilities
- Support the school with general cover where appropriate
We are looking for people with:
- Experience teaching, coaching or leading sports activities
- Confidence working with children or young people
- Good communication and classroom/group management skills
- A positive and enthusiastic approach
- The ability to engage students and encourage participation
- Reliability and flexibility
- QTS is desirable but not essential
This could suit a qualified PE Teacher, Cover Supervisor, Sports Coach, former professional athlete, sports graduate or someone with strong experience delivering sports activities to young people.
