Cover Supervisor to join a dedicated team at a thriving boys' school in Plymouth.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of learning by supervising classes during the short‑term absence of teaching staff.

You will deliver pre‑prepared lesson materials, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and ensure students remain engaged and focused throughout the lesson.

The successful candidate will

  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be confident managing groups of secondary‑aged students.
  • Demonstrate resilience, professionalism, and a calm approach.
  • Have strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Be committed to supporting students to achieve their full potential.
  • Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
