Pay: £130-£180 per day for daily cover | Pay to scale for long-term roles

Do you specialise in History, Geography, Religious Studies or another Humanities subject? We are working with secondary schools in Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding areas who are looking for enthusiastic Humanities Teachers from September.

There are opportunities for flexible day-to-day supply as well as regular and longer-term placements, giving you the option to work around your existing commitments or secure a more consistent role.

The role may involve:

  • Teaching History, Geography, RE or other Humanities subjects
  • Teaching across KS3 and KS4
  • Preparing and delivering engaging lessons
  • Teaching towards GCSE where appropriate
  • Supporting students of different abilities
  • Managing classroom behaviour
  • Assessing and monitoring progress
  • Working alongside experienced department teams

The ideal candidate will have:

  • QTS or relevant teaching experience
  • Experience teaching a Humanities subject at secondary level
  • Strong subject knowledge
  • Good classroom management
  • A passion for their subject
  • The ability to engage and motivate students
  • A flexible and professional approach
