Salary Grade I (Point 28 - 31) £39,153 - £41,772

37 hours per week - 52 weeks per year

Working Pattern:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (30-minute lunch)
  • Fridays: 8:00 am - 3:30 pm (30-minute lunch)

The TEACH Poole Multi Academy Trust was formed in April 2015. All four of our schools are judged Good or Outstanding by Ofsted. We are extremely popular, forward thinking schools with supportive staff and fantastic children. We are seeking to appoint a reliable, proactive and well organised individual to the role of Trust Estates Manager, working across our four primary schools in Canford Heath. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced site manager, caretaker or estates professional looking to take the next step in their career.

Responsibilities:

  • Work within the Trust Estates team to ensure the school sites are safe, secure and welcoming for children, staff and visitors.
  • Be responsible for maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, appearance and presentation of the school buildings and grounds on a daily basis.
  • Take a proactive approach to health and safety, ensuring policies, procedures and statutory requirements are followed consistently.
  • Undertake and oversee general maintenance and site works to a high standard.
  • Coordinate and oversee estates services and external contractors to ensure consistent standards are met across the sites.
  • Be responsible for locking and unlocking routines and the overall security of the school grounds.
  • Work closely with school leaders, colleagues and contractors to support the smooth running of the schools.
  • Be committed to raising and maintaining high standards across all areas of the school estate.

  • Have experience or practical skills in general maintenance, facilities or craftsmanship.
