About the role and school
Teach Plus are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hounslow to recruit a dedicated KS2 Teacher to join their team from November 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced or enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to take full classroom responsibility for a Year 5 class until the end of the academic year. The successful KS2 Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons, maintain high expectations and create a positive learning environment where pupils can achieve their full potential.

Job Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the KS2 curriculum for a Year 5 class
- Establish and maintain high standards of behaviour, learning and classroom expectations
- Assess pupil progress effectively and adapt teaching to meet a range of individual needs
- Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages pupils to achieve their potential
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and senior leaders to promote pupil progress and wellbeing
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers and contribute positively to the wider school community
Qualifications/Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant qualification
- Experience as a KS2 Class Teacher or in a similar role
- Strong subject/curriculum knowledge relevant to the role
- Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
- Right to work in the UK
